The fashion industry can be quite tough. I have been here for about two years now as an assistant for a fashion magazine, and I must say although the perks are wonderful it can be quite a monstrous field to enter in. The only thing I like about my job is that I get to be exposed in the latest styles and trends, which allows me to update my look as fashion seasons change.
It can cause quite a stir in my savings whenever I need to purchase items I would need to wear for the office. These days, I simply settle for basic clothing items and simply dazzle it up with trendy jewelry. This way, I need not spend too much on clothes as I already have the basic wear at hand, I simply would just mix and match options in order to refrain from making regular purchases. This is definitely a saver given my meager salary.
