Variety in jewelry is the result of many factors foremost of which is the availability of different kinds of materials. Jewelry beads alone come in many different kinds.   • Opaque beads have solid color as opposed to transparent beads that are clear and can also be colored.
  • Lampwork beads are made from molten glass.
